Over 20 years after releasing their debut full-length Turn on the Bright Lights, Interpol have been playing crowd-pleasing anthems like “Evil”, “Slow Hands” and “The Heinrich Maneuver” live and they look to be carrying on in the same vein. With their 2022 album The Other Side of Make-Believe, the post-punk band proves they can take their atmospheric, foreboding sound in new directions while at the same time upholding the dark vibe that has run through most of their music in the two decades since Turn on the Bright Lights was released.
