The Van Buren
One of Mexico’s greatest rock bands El Tri is coming to The Van Buren on Friday, November 20, 2026 as part of their Adicto Al Roncanrol Tour. The legendary Mexican rock band, led by founder and lead singer Álex Lora, will be performing a very special show in Phoenix, Arizona.
As a foundation for Latin Rock for over five decades, El Tri blends blues, hard rock, and traditional Mexican roots into tracks that have become iconic in Mexican culture. They're one of those bands that you don't have to be a massive fan to find yourself in the crowd singing along to every single song. The event is also just a slice of Mexican culture through and through. The fans are going to be out there yelling profanities at Alex Lora; he'll defend himself, don't worry. The Van Buren is a short walk from The Van Buren is located in the heart of downtown Phoenix, in the middle of the entertainment district. This club is very small, but is able to deliver fantastic acoustics. It has several bars, one on each floor, that serve a wide variety of beverages, and can be served to you while you are dancing the night away. The club is a standing room only venue that holds a maximum of 1,800 people.
There are many options for parking when attending an event in the downtown Phoenix area. There are many street spaces available as well as lots of different parking lots and garages within walking distance to The Van Buren. As with anything, earlier is better for parking, so make sure to plan to get to a great restaurant for dinner and to grab a few drinks before the show.
